The Household
The main house is a fully renovated 1952 semi-detached bungalow occupied solely by the landlady. Both the house and adjoining Garden Suite have been thoughtfully and holistically designed using eco-friendly principles to create a warm comfortable and harmonious living environment. The Garden Suite is entirely self-contained with its own bedroom/living space kitchenette en-suite shower room private courtyard dedicated Wi-Fi hub and consumer unit. It adjoins the main house while allowing the resident complete independence and privacy. The only shared area is the utility room situated along the Garden Suite’s main access route. The household atmosphere is friendly easy-going respectful and considerate with privacy and personal space equally valued.
Other
This is an Eco-Friendly House with low-no strong smelling chemical based products. I ask that consideration is taken when using the mutually shared utility room. I respectively ask that consideration is taken where possible to the minimum use of strong fragrances whilst occupying the communal areas. Eco- Laundry detergent and basic eco cleaning products are provided.
Location
Henley-on-Thames is a beautiful historic market town offering an excellent selection of restaurants pubs cafes independent shops boutiques bakers butchers and everyday amenities. The town also has its own theatre cinema and a wonderful variety of riverside walks. The Garden Suite is ideally positioned approximately 3 to 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre and River Thames and around 10 minutes’ walk from Henley railway station. Makins Recreation Ground is just 2 minutes away while Invesco Perpetual Park is approximately a 15-minute walk. Henley offers an attractive combination of riverside living excellent local amenities and convenient transport connections to Reading London and the surrounding area.
